TS Booker has undertaken and successfully completed furniture installations in HM Prisons, Police Headquarters and Police Custodial Suites including; the supply and installation of fitted cell furniture comprising the Home Office recommended Lambeth Cell bed, Holding room benches with containment screens, Interview room furniture, Charge desks, Reception desks and Non-cell furniture in the support areas.
Our Charge desks and Reception counters have all been different to suit each site, they are designed to offer clear visibility for staff and clients, whilst being robust, safe and secure. All edges and panels are reinforced and softened to reduce the risk of product failure or injury in this challenging environment.
TS Booker has completed installations in the following areas within Her Majesties Prisons; Prison House blocks, Prison hospital facilities, Prison workshops and classrooms, visitor centres, canteens and dining areas and Administration offices
TS Booker products are robust and can cope with the demands of this type of contract custodial furniture. TS Booker products can all be manufactured with anti-ligature fixtures and fittings to minimise the risks associated with furniture in Mental Health and Secure units. All doors in our standard product range of units utilise a heavy duty piano hinge secured in place with tamperproof screws. Inset handles are bolted through the panels using tamperproof bolts. The furniture can also be manufactured using 16mm & 20mm Solid grade laminate panels to give that extra durability when required.
Our furniture layouts are designed to comply with the latest performance standards and take account of client requirements. 3d CAD images can be produced to help present our ideas and to confirm that we have understood the clients requirements.
