Multi-materials craft benches are designed and manufactured to meet the needs of the client. Worktops are available in a range of finishes and include solid beech, linoleum, plywood and stainless steel. Underframes can be supplied in steel or solid beech and come complete with underbench storage or space for pupils to sit.
These craft benches were supplied with planing stops, metalwork vices on filing trays, woodwork vices and underbench lockable storage.
A range of perimeter bench units including drawers can be supplied in a range of finishes. These units can be used to build island craft benches suitable for groups of two or four pupils. TS Booker also offers a service of replacement worktops for your existing craft benches.
This craft bench was designed and manufactured specially for a client. This craft bench is of solid beech construction with a spacious underbench storage unit. There is also sufficient kneespace to seat four pupils. The worktops were manufacture using 40mm solid beech and included a central tool well. The order was completed with worktop inserts so the bench could also be used for design work.
Special craft benches can be manufactured to order. The client on this project wanted a craft bench with solid beech top and steel undeframe. The perimeter benching complimented the craft benches and were also built using solid beech lippings and beech laminate.
This beech open under craft bench was designed to meet the flexible needs of many design & technology departments. The metal vice shown can be removed from the worktop and mounted on the underbench frame for localised storage. The woodwork vices used are 7 (178mm), the metalwork vices used are 3 (75mm).
