Our designers worked closely with the client to ensure that the correct finishes and layout were achieved with this project. This Internet café was developed as an area that would attract private business and be used for conferences and training purposes. Our production department liased with the client and developed these large islands and bespoke benches at a cost-effective price.

TS Booker regularly get involved with the design and development of City Learning Centres and the associated ICT rooms. We have designed a range of environments that are used by school pupils and private businesses. This project was based on shaped island units positioned around the room with the data and power services being fed from below, within the underbench units.

Peninsular Computer benching can be manufactured to any length and depth and include cable management where required. These benches were designed to maximise the workstation spaces in the classroom without reducing the number of class tables that were required. Circular, rectangular, hexagonal and octagonal shaped benches can all be manufactured in our factory.

As part of the increasing use of ICT in schools TS Booker suggest that Computer benching is considered in Science Laboratories and specialist rooms like Food technology and Art. Our design team make provision for computers by including open benching that matches the worktops for the rest of the area. The perimeter computer benching can be supplied and installed with or without wire management.

The island benching designed for this room incorporated curved ends and central storage units for the Computer towers. The underbench units included a side door for access to the electrical sockets at the rear of the processors.

The open ended cantilever benching allows for small group work and private individual workstations.
